City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has said that all bottlenecks in the way of construction of Business Recorder Road should be removed forthwith and work thereon be started immediately. Chairing a meeting at his office on Tuesday, the Nazim emphasised that while removing the encroachments lying in the way of this road, the humanitarian aspect must be kept in view. He said encroachments should not be removed without holding talks with the possible affectees or before they are convinced.
He asked the Nazim Jamshed Town, Ahmed Parekh to immediately hold a meeting with the affectee shopkeepers of Business Recorder Road and sort out the issue of encroachment removal so that this road is widened to overcome existing traffic pressure.
The City Nazim also asked the traffic police officials present in the meeting to take steps to check illegal parking of rickshaws on this road.
